Building on the tremendous success of the 2025 TSPS Boot Camp, TSPS is excited to bring this highly impactful program back in 2026. Hosted at UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine in collaboration with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and supported by plastic surgery programs and faculty from across Texas, TSPS Boot Camp '26 continues to raise the standard for resident education and hands-on training statewide.
The initial program was created by ASPS in 2018 to address evolving trends in graduate medical education. The TSPS Boot Camp '26 program aims to aid the transition of Integrated and Independent residents into plastic surgery training by offering standardized exposure to crucial clinical content. The program is designed to ensure accountability in trainee education and to stay at the forefront of adult surgical education. Boot Camp '26 will also build community and mentorship among the next generation of plastic surgeons, featuring distinguished academic leaders, including program directors and chairs, who are committed to fostering meaningful connections.
