for ACTIVE, CANDIDATE, ASSOCIATE & LIFETIME MEMBERS

WHO CAN SUBMIT?

  • TSPS Active, Candidate, Associate and Lifetime Members. Only a select number of applications will be accepted for platform presentations.
  • Residents and Fellows seeking to submit an abstract are submitted through a separate form.  Click on the button below to be directed to the Abstract Competition Guidelines for your category. 
Resident & Fellows Submission Guidelines

 

ACTIVE MEMBER GUIDELINES ON SUBMITTING:

  • You must be a current TSPS Member in an Active, Candidate, Associate or Lifetime category.
  • Abstracts must be relevant to Plastic Surgery and may be on any subject.
  • ONE ABSTRACT APPLICATION PER APPLICANT.
  • The person who submits the abstract must present the abstract. 
    (Should issues arise, accommodations can be approved on a case-by-case basis.)
  • Each Member paper must be ready for oral presentation at the meeting (in PowerPoint format) and not exceed 10 minutes.
  • If your abstract claims improvements, from either cosmetic or reconstructive, you must provide photographs/images to support those claims.
  • Additional details on presentations will be emailed to you after acceptance.

ABSTRACT DETAILS:

  • Title and Presenters name at the top of the document.
  • Single-spaced, 500-word, one-page document only.
  • Files should be saved as a PDF. 
  • Submit application ONLY when you are submitting with a PDF attachment. 
  • The application will not allow you to go back to upload a PDF at a later date. 
  • Submissions without an attachment will be deleted to avoid duplicates. 
Selected finalists will be notified by Sept 5 and present platform presentations on either Sat., Sept. 19 or Sun., Sept. 20. You will be notified of your time in advance.

ABSTRACT & POSTER COMPETITION AWARDS
Judging is coordinated through the TSPS Awards Committee and awards will be presented throughout the annual meeting.

  • FOX AWARD:  Presented to the best overall paper presented by a TSPS Member. 
  • YPS AWARD:  Presented to the best overall paper presented by a TSPS YPS Member.
    (A YPS Member is defined as all Active or Candidate members who are 42 years old or younger, OR who are within the first eight (8) years of practice.)
ALL ABSTRACT PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND THE  ANNUAL MEETING.
